It’s Homecoming Season – Be Safe

This coming weekend sees the Homecoming Football Game for Conestoga High School. High schools throughout Chester County and the Main Line will be celebrating homecoming over the coming weeks. With festive football games and fun high school dances, we encourage students and alumni alike to ensure that all memories of these events be only positive in nature going forward.

Too often, over the years we have read about tragedies following homecoming celebrations that generally revolve around teens, alcohol and automobiles. We ask parents to be a bit extra vigilant during weekends such as these so that stories of these tragedies can disappear from the headlines over time.

Please talk to your teams about safe celebrating. They cannot hear this kind of messaging enough. We wish the best of luck to all of those athletes participating in those many epic homecoming games over the coming weeks.
